Final Club of 2011

Last night was a great finish to the term. We enjoyed the movie Elf, ate Christmas goodies, burned several marshmallows over a giant bonfire, and reflected a little on Jesus, and what Christmas is all about. I shared a children's book called, "The Spirit of Christmas". In the book the main character talks about the coming of the Spirit of Christmas. The Spirit of Christmas brings all of the common traditions, but none of it feels quite right. The character is then reminded by the Spirit of Christmas that it all began with a baby, and that Christmas without love is not Christmas at all. 

I wait in great expectation for what God has in store for 2012. Have a Jesus filled Christmas and a blessed New Year!
